Delight Cuisine

I was in the mood for some Indian cuisine so I decided to try Delight and to my delight the food was amazing. They were experiencing some staffing issues when I went and the owners couldn't be more apologetic. I wasn't in a hurry and would rather take my time than be rushed. I ordered the Gobi manchurian for an appetizer which was the best cauliflower I've ever had and I highly recommend it. I also ordered the chicken korma as my entree which was equally amazing. If you like Indian food or just want to try something different I highly recommend trying Delight. The food is amazing and the owners were very nice people as well.

I always wanted to try the restaurant prior to this one but never got the chance! I’m so happy that it was replaced by another Indian cuisine restaurant. Food is just so good. I was not crazy about the kebab though, meat was completely dried out & difficult to chew, but everything else was amazing. I wish that they would put a description of what each dish is on the menu. While dining in I noticed so much takeout being picked up. Wishing all the best for this establishment!

Just came from dinner here and can't recommend enough!! Each dish was prepared with love and had great flavor and spice can't wait to go back. Clean restaurant with lovely decor and the friendliest staff you can imagine!!

Really great food, mom and I had the veggie samosas (not pictured), the tandoori chicken skewers, and chicken tikka masala. We had leftovers too, would def recommend

Our whole party agreed the food was very good and we definitely want to return! We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. One of us got mild and the other medium. Neither were that spicy, so if you’re looking for spice, maybe shoot for “hot”. We also ordered another chicken dish which was considered “mild” but was spicier which we liked. And an we ordered a delicious Caesar salad and Naan Bread. Our server was very friendly. Seemed short staffed but food was worth the wait. Buildings in downtown Torrington are older looking - that just comes with the location. The floor at the booth we sat in had a hole were a vent plate probably should have been. Bathrooms weren’t attractive. Found out after our visit that they have their own parking lot behind the building, so you don’t need to park on the street. But again, all in all, very good food and friendly service. Will return!

Listen, you came here wanting a review so I’m going to give you honesty. This is the BEST Indian food in Litchfield county and there is NO COMPETITION! I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Harlic and Cheese Naan and let me tell you, it FLOORS even other genres of food in Torrington. The chicken was moist and properly portioned, the sauce was magnificent and takes your taste buds to a different world, the rice was exactly where it needed to be in texture and flavor. Oh and let’s talk about the Naan, aka the garlic flavor blast of perfection. I came here PRAYING it would be good because Torrington has a lack of culture and actual good food that’s more that just okay, and what I was met with was PERFECTION. The service was amazing and staff was so kind, the environment is exactly what this place needs to be, the music is inviting, and again the food takes you to a different place. You bet that this is gonna be my spot for a VERY VERY long time. This is the culture that Torrington needs, and this is the food YOU need. I will be doing a 2nd review revisiting with a different dish. You’re thinking about coming by reading this, THINK NO LONGER!!! GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!!! 10/10

truly a hidden gem in Torrington! From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The Butter Chicken is a must try, it's rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. I also loved the Vegetable Samosas, which were perfectly crispy and delicious. This place has quickly become my favorite spot for a delightful dining experience!
