The best South asian food in the town or Los Angeles No one can beat Everything in the zam zam is amazing Nan is like softy buttery The nihari is unbeatable So tender & flavorful The biriyani is just outstanding The kabab is amazing The Desert is just like heaven Ambience is wholesome
As soon as you walk through the door the aromas transport you to an exotic land. The dishes are savory and on the spicy side. Luckily I love spicy/ hot.
The food here is absolutely delicious. Its a family owned restaurant I believe. Al Watan is next door bit the food there is catered more to the American pallete. Customer service isn't the best but I treat it more as a grab and go restaurant than a sit down type. The owners also struggle a little bit with English. 10/10 reccomend for the bomb food
Best Indian food in la! My husband is Indian so we've been to our fair share of Indian restaurants and we've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here. My two favorites are chicken tandoori & chana masala.
Today we had Ramadan Kareem iftar party this place with group of people food was amazing delicious affordable need and clean and very friendly ownership. Very helpful with beautiful smile. Next time I will book same place this place for sure is recommended.
Came up on Instagram for a halal food option. You order your food and sit down. They bring the food out to you. I was surprised they didn’t have samosas on the menu, but we had the chicken karahi, chicken tikka masala, beef seekh kebab, the chicken malai kebab, and naan. Food was excellent especially the beef seekh kebab. Some of the best I’ve had. Not dry at all. Overall a good value. I had to box my own leftovers. Don’t know why they have a tip option when paying when they really don’t provide any service.
Hole in the wall Indian Pakistani market with small eating area, most people get prepared food to go. Very reasonable food - some items I get regularly are tandoori items such as beef or chicken kabobs and the chicken or lamb biryani (available on weekends). They also offer chicken Karahi, a Pakistani chicken curry dish and a chicken curry puff. Besides lamb biryani, the weekend menu is expanded to include poori bread, chickpea curry and halwa grated carrot dessert. Everything is a la carte only and it’s better to pay in cash (there’s a $10 minimum for credit cards). Call before you go to find out what they have so as not to risk showing up and finding out items are sold out or in the process of being prepped.
