We visited Honest Restaurant twice during our stay in Los Angeles, and both experiences were absolutely wonderful! The food was consistently delicious, and the hospitality was top-notch. The host was incredibly kind and humble β even letting us in once after their last order time had passed, which made us feel truly welcome. A special mention to their Labadar Paneer β itβs a must-try! Full of rich flavors and perfectly cooked, it quickly became one of our favorites. Highly recommend Honest Restaurant for anyone looking for great food and genuine hospitality!
I liked the food and service here. The was really good, service was very fast. We had pav bhaji, veggie aloo sandwich and fried rice and Masala chai and masala soda. Everything was so good.Ambiance is oky but it can compromise over good food and fast service. Definitely recommend for decent food. Wanna come again and try more.
An Awesome Indian restaurant. With great authentic taste to all Indian food served here. Lots of lots of options here from Indian street food to south & north Indian dishes. Even Indian beverages like masala tea. You have to wait a little bit before you get seated. An Awesome option for those looking for Indian cuisine, taste and vegetarian options. Loved it..ππ»π
First time here, my colleague recommended this place. Food was very fresh, and came out really fast. We tried 4 different dishes. So far vegetarian pizza was my favorite, I canβt believe how vegetarian dishes could be so testy. Thanks to the owner, he checked on us couple of times. Will definitely return back.
Edit: 12/25/2023. The food quality and taste was way better than our last visit. We tried chana bhatura, pav bhaji, paneer butter masala, vadapav, chili garlic noodles, dosa etc and all was really delicious. Also tried they famous bahubali sandwich and it was super flavorful. Will definitely visit again. Honestly, Honest was not up to the mark. Out of all the dishes we tried, only Pav bhaji was good and it could have been less watery, I feel. Aloo paratha, dahi puri etc. needed more salt. They were very bland and had to eat them with a pickle and extra chutney. Will give them one more chance as I have heard a lot about their Bahubali sandwich, so want to try it out. Will update the review once we try the sandwich.
Authentic Mumbai chat! Vada pav, Pav bhaji are must to try. We had indo-chinese food as well and it was awesome. I like how the food was done right, not too spicy or salty. Service was good. And I think they are getting better at it now. Parking was convenient. Outdoor dining setting was COVID-19 safe.
I will be very honest in giving this review π..In the times where we have to wait for hours to get food served on our table this restaurant beats the norm with quick service even on the busiest days.We went in big group of hungry folks and ended up ordering a variety of dishes..All the dishes tasted good but the one that stood out for me was the βBahubali Sandwichβ.If you have ever eaten those street side grilled cheese sandwiches in Mumbai or want to give it a try this would be the place to go..My personal recommendation would be their sandwiches..There is another item bhakri pizza which I have heard a lot but kept it on my to eat list for next time.So to sum up..good food and quick delivery.Definitely a place to try.
