They have delicious Indian food here. I'm so excited to have this food truck (and the others at this spot) in our neighborhood! They offer a great atmosphere, it's very well kept/maintained. There's covered picnic tables, a fire pit, stage, it's great. And did I mention that the food at The Indian Flames is delicious! It's worth repeating :)
If you’re in South Austin and looking to try something flavorful and new, Indian Flames Food Truck is a must-visit! I love experimenting with different cuisines, and this place hit the mark perfectly. The food is packed with incredible flavors, and everything is so easy to mix together, which I really appreciate. I ordered my dish mild, and it was just the right balance of spices for me—full of flavor but not overwhelming. My husband opted for medium spice, and it was the perfect kick for his taste. The portions were generous, and the presentation was excellent for a food truck. Whether you’re a spice lover or prefer something more mellow, there’s an option for everyone. Indian Flames makes trying Indian food an easy and enjoyable experience. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area!
The food was delicious! I love how many vegetarian options there were (they have an entire vegetarian menu!). I also loved that you were able to choose your spice level, and every one working there was super nice. The atmosphere is great day or night. I went at night and they had a heated bungalow area to eat and a fire to warm up by.
This is the BEST Indian food I have ever had! The flavor to spice ratio is just perfect, and I haven’t had a bad thing in the menu yet. The area is the cutest with lots of picnic tables and umbrellas and heaters in the winter. Perfect place for families and truly anybody. Please come here and try it, their chicken tikka masala and lamb roganjosh is the best I’ve had!
The Manchurian is crispy on the outside yet tender inside, enveloped in a slightly thick, sticky sauce that added moisture without making it soggy. Very good food and the atmosphere was pleasant to spend quality and fun time with friends. The Naans were very delicious and soft with blend of flavors. I would definitely suggest this place for dinner or refreshment breaks.
Best food and amazing service. The workers are so kind! I love coming here. Everything tastes amazing. The naan is so flavorful and the texture is perfect. I love the butter chicken. I think it is some of the best in the city!!! You won’t regret trying this food!
Got to enjoy this place for the first time and had a great experience! The staff was really nice and the food was delicious. They also had a great outdoor seating area (covered). Definitely would recommend!
