Great fusion food concept. Generous portion size - good value to food ratio. They make tortillas live - so fresh right when you order. Multiple vegetarian options available. And food was so delicious. Plenty of options from bowl to taco to burritos. And when we went - there were lines so pretty popular place. Everyone seems to love the food. We got paneer tikka and veg kofta tacos along with spicy potato taco. All combinations were amazing. Loved all the sauce option. Hope the quality and quantity stays the same over the time. Would love to have food here again and make it our go to place for quick bite. Plenty of tables and seats available.
Quirky but really great food. We had four people eating and tried a wide variety of tacos. General ranking: 1. Chicken tikka 2. Lamb barbcacoa 3. Chicken korma (“chicken of the day”) 4. Chicken curry 5. Paneer tikka 6. Channa Masala We didn’t order the spicy potato tacos but they gave us some potatoes on the side and they were awesome. All in all, we’ll go back and try it again.
What a gem of a place! Indian with Mexican fusion is match made in heaven. If you love Indian curries, you'll definitely enjoy them wrapped in burritos. The staff is so polite and welcoming, they even let you try their curries and choose the best! Give all your love to this new place guys! For the non spicy people, try the chicken tikka burrito, and for people who like spicy, ask for the chicken of the day burrito. I tried Lamb Barbacoa and it was 10x better than Chipotle's barbacoa.
This might be our new favourite place in SW Austin, maybe all of Austin! My husband I both agreed we could eat here just about every day of the week. We both had Chicken Tkka tacos and there’s so many choices for add on options. I’m super picky, can’t eat very spicy or certain textures with other textures, but everything I had in my taco was amazing!! I had corn, sour cream, rice and cheese. My husband had veggies, and a bunch of other things, but I don’t remember. He likes spicy. We’re so different in our tastes, yet it was perfect for both of us. He also had veggie Samosas, that were huge and he said some of the best he’s ever had, plus an amazing dipping sauce. All their sauces are good! We also had chips and queso. Very good! Large portions, at great prices. He had a mango lassi and after a sip, I was sad I hadn’t gotten one. We also had a side of their rice of the day. The restaurant is very clean and bright and the employees were all super kind and helpful!
I heard about Sivestar from a post on Reddit and decided to check them out. Two of my favorite foods are tacos and Indian food so this intrigued me. They are by far one of the most delicious things I have eaten in years. All the ingredients are so fresh and flavorful and their sauces are super bright and really complement the food well. The place is super clean and the folks working there are really friendly and helpful. I had a curry chicken taco and a chicken tikka taco, both with sautéed veggies, fried potatoes, cheese, and what they call "Indian pico" which has cucumbers in them. The cilantro sauce was really nice and the hot sauce was great but man it sneaks up on you after a bit so keep that in mind. I will definitely recommend Sivestar Indian Tacos to my friends and family as well as all you Google users.
Had a wonderful experience with Indian taco/burritos, with all-Indian flavors. Healthy and tasty options coupled with the friendly atmosphere made dining here an absolute pleasure. This is a definite haunt for innovative Indian food in the Oak Hill area.
Done in - 2 people - Ordered Paneer Tikka taco, channa masala taco and veggie kofta burrito. Everything tasted so yum, good portion, freshly made Indian tortillas, configurable sauces and veggies. Veggie kofta is a must try. Friendly staff, ample seating, free parking.
