This was a great road trip stop while on our way back home. We really enjoy Indian food, and Punjabi Dhaba really hit the spot (they have vegan and nonvegam options)! The owner and staff were super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. Stop by if you're ever in the area - you won't regret it!
We had an incredible dining experience at Punjabi Dhaba, thanks to the warm hospitality of Mr. Rabari and Mrs. Manshi! Their kindness and attention to detail made our visit extra special. The food was absolutely excellent—each dish bursting with rich, authentic flavors that truly represent the best of Punjabi cuisine. And their mango lassi? Simply outstanding! Smooth, refreshing, and the perfect complement to our meal. I only wish they had a branch in Orlando, FL, so more people could experience this culinary gem. If you're looking for delicious food served with care and passion, Punjabi Dhaba is the place to go! Rajesh
Never had Indian food before and this place was so tasty. They also told me how they use non GMO ingredients, peanut and coconut oil. Very healthy choices. Can't wait to go back. Taking the entire family next time. Very nice place and service and food.
We stopped by this restaurant on our way back from Yosemite to SoCAL and were really impressed by the quality of food. We tried the paneer curry, malai kofta , dal makhani, bharwan baingan, sarson ka saag, parathas and the taste and quality were legit. We were also impressed by the friendliness, customer service and attention to detail of the front desk staff(i believe we spoke to the owner/manager also). They were really helpful in giving suggestions. Overall top notch food and customer service. If you like authentic indian food, this is a perfect stop (we went for the spicy options and loved it!!)
Great food! Great people! This was a first for me, and I will definitely be going again and telling others to go. It's great people/family run business. Exactly the kind who deserves local support. The effort and heart they put into their restaurant is uplifting. The owner took time to show me pictures of his new specialized oven he has coming dedicated solely to bake vegan roti. He explained the difference in the quality of wheat and chicken he uses. High grade and the wheat is organic, I highly respect a business with integrity, it's very rare.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Punjabi dhaba in Bakersfield, and it was hands down one of the best Indian food experiences I’ve had in California. The flavors were incredibly authentic, and the dishes tasted like they were homemade with love. Every bite was bursting with rich spices and traditional Punjabi flair, just like you would expect in a home-cooked meal. The service was just as impressive—the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect meal. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone craving authentic Indian food. It's a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit!
Some of the best Indian food I have had. Also note that even though the sign says cash only, Zelle is accepted. 10/10: samosa chaat - highly recommend!! 9/10: masala chai 9/10: shahi paneer 9/10: paratha - they are very large 8/10: chole masala 8/10: kheer
