Just tried this restaurant for the first time, and wow — we were blown away! My husband and I are pretty particular when it comes to Indian food, and this place absolutely delivered. The flavors were incredible — the most authentic Indian cuisine we’ve had since a memorable trip to New Jersey. We couldn’t stop raving about every bite! But it’s not just the food — the restaurant is beautifully decorated. You can really tell how much thought and care went into the ambiance. We only did takeout this time, but we’re already planning to dine in soon. My husband is thrilled it’s so close to home, and I love knowing I’ve got an amazing go-to option for those nights I don’t feel like cooking — without sacrificing quality. The customer service was also fantastic — warm, welcoming, and efficient. We’re so happy to support a small business like this, and I truly believe it’s going to become a local favorite fast. Fingers crossed we’ll be able to get a table next time — I can already see the lines forming out the door!
My favorite restaurant located in Richmond opened up a new location in Virginia Beach! We had the goat haleem, chicken biryani, chicken 65, chili gobi, and garlic naan. The haleem and biryani are the best I’ve had in Virginia - so flavorful, great spice level, and reminded me of home! Especially the haleem… it was perfect! This type of authentic food is hard to find in VA, I highly recommend trying it out. The service was great as well! :)
I recently tried the goat haleem and chicken biryani, and both dishes were absolutely amazing! The goat haleem was rich, creamy, and packed with deep flavors, perfectly spiced without being overwhelming. The meat was tender and blended beautifully with the texture of the dish, making every bite satisfying. As for the chicken biryani, it was fragrant and bursting with flavors. The chicken was tender, and the rice was perfectly cooked, with just the right balance of spices. Both dishes had a delightful depth of taste and were a true celebration of authentic flavors. Highly recommend!
I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed! The Chicken 65 was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with the perfect blend of spices. The Mutton Haleem was incredibly rich and flavorful, with tender meat. And the Chicken Biryani, Simply the best. It had just the right amount of spice and a fragrant aroma, with perfectly cooked rice and succulent chicken. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic, mouthwatering dishes. Can’t wait to order again!
We ordered pick up from here last night and it was delicious - both the food and mango lassis! If you enjoy authentic Indian food, this will fit the bill. Especially since they feature dishes from Hyderabad’s unique cuisine culture. We ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, vegetable samosas, and the Gobi 65. Everything was full of flavor with a nice balance of spice, and the chicken was perfectly tender. We also had not tried the 65 flavor before - that was great. Their customer service was also impeccable - they were busy with dine-in and pick up customers and managed to help everyone in a timely manner. Highly recommend overall!
The food that we had here was excellent to say the least. Hyderabad Biryani House offers the most authentic Indian cuisine flavors in their dishes that you can get in the Virginia Beach area. The Chicken 65, Goat Haleem, and Chilli Chicken were all fantastic and served fresh. We will most definitely be returning here again.
Tried this place every weekend for the last three weeks. (The only real way to check for quality/consistency) Customer service is extremely good, food is ready for pickup when they say it will be. A word of advice for the owner/operator of this restaurant… there are many Indian restaurants in the area… you stand out because you keep the food authentic. Do not conform to the “norm” and keep the food unapologetically authentic. The real fans and customers with continue to patronize your establishment. I’ll post a 6 month review in the next few months, good luck with your process to open up the dine-in option. -Aditya
