By far one of the best Indian restaurants on the east coast. The quality of food and superb service made my stay at Virginia Beach. The family owned staff was very pleasant and accommodating to allergy and diet. The spices and meats they use are fresh and bring out the color and taste of each dish they serve. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for authentic and high quality Indian food with an excellent staff. Also, the speciality drinks they serve is an added treat. A MUST TRY!

I loved this place, I used to live in town center and the restaurant was always super busy and always smell great, the staff seemed a bit short handed since their wasn't anyone to greet us when we walked on, but the food was great and was fresh, their was a large party in their they were a bit noisy, but overall everything was great, the wait staff was attentive and kept checking to see if we needed anything, and kept the classes filled with water

First off this is a local business of color that employs other people of color which is something I always look for and find absolutely amazing!!!! Second the food and service are absolutely fantastic!!!!! I have 0 complaints!!!

This is my wife and I's favorite restaurant. I have been eating here for years, mostly take out. My wife is gluten free and I am a vegetarian, so it can be hard to find stuff that works for both of us. This place delivers in spades. I've tried most of the veggie dishes on the menu, and they are all great in their own way. Also, something interesting from eating here so many times, but the same dishes often come out in different ways, which to me suggests they are being hand made and using fresh ingredients. Highly recommended. When my wife and I got married, we got catering from here for our wedding and even our family, who had limited experience with Indian food, loved it, and now my parents eat here regularly too. Thanks for so many great meals Saffron!

The atmosphere, service and food quality are 5 stars! Our server on September 6 was delightful and helpful at selecting dishes. The restaurant was clean and our food was delicious!

If you're seeking authentic Indian cuisine in Virginia Beach, Saffron Indian Bistro in the Town Center is a standout. This restaurant offers a blend of traditional flavors and modern ambiance. Saffron's menu features a variety of dishes that cater to diverse palates. My favorites were the Chili Chicken, Dal Makhani, Methi Chicken, Chicken Kebab twists, and Gobi Manchurian. But the naan... so buttery and soft, we had 3 different versions and they were all so amazing. Overall, Saffron Indian Bistro offers a delightful dining experience with its flavorful dishes!

My first time here and I ordered lamb biryani, Gobi Manchurian, and palak paneer. Everything had great flavor and generous portions. I was pleasantly surprised at how much lamb was in the biryani and the size of the paneer in the palak. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes.
