This was our first visit here. Shame we don’t live closer as it would definitely be a weekly staple. All the food was delicious. Some were not very traditionally Indian, but the twist on them didn’t stop the flavours. It was very busy during the lunchtime we were there. The server was on his own but worked very hard to accommodate everyone.
We went there yesterday to try Indian food for the first time and we loved it . The atmosphere was pretty cool , nice and clean. Our waitress Chris was so friendly, attentive and definitely helpful, he well explained the menu and gave us great recommendations for us to try out. So , we ended up ordering the GHOST CHILI LAMB VINDALOO and he had GOAN PORK CURRY, mine was pretty spicy, his was between spicy and sweet but it was pretty good. We both liked it and we will definitely come back to try a different dish . We highly recommend this place!
The food is amazing, we came here last Friday with some friends and we had such a great time. The service was incredible and the food amazing. I think this is the best Indian restaurant I have tried in LA . My favorite was the ghost chili lamb
Ate at Badmaash on 12/28/2024 for the first time. Immediately I was hit with such a vibrant and chill atmosphere. The space felt small but so big at the same time. Perfect balance. The servers immediately tended to my friend and I. Everything we ordered was given to us super fast. As we ordered, the owner Nukel was sitting next to us and giving us pointers on what to eat. Thank God we asked him because every dish we ordered, he told us to get it. Very knowledgeable on traditional dishes. Love how they shy away from being traditional though. Every dish was different from what I am usually eating. Had the best time here. Def will be back.
We really enjoyed Badmaash. Pretty awesome twist on some great Indian dishes and some fantastic traditional staple dishes as well. The staff was pretty awesome too. Tables are close together so it's pretty easy to chat and make friends with the people near you which I enjoy doing. We'll definitely hit Badmaash again the next time we're in L.A.
So you “Could” come here and have a nice meal, and get out the door for around $35. But I would recommend you budget in the range of $50-60 per person, because you’re going to want to try everything! Samosas bigger than your clenched fist, fried fish with wonderful sauce, Tikka Masala with a hint of spice, and Indian inspired poutine are a few of the dishes you’ll want to try. Portion sizes for the entrees allow everyone to order something different and share communally amongst the table. (You’ll still be eating and wondering what the next table over is having)Helpful staff will tell you about the various offerings and help you choose something delicious.
Great restaurant! I had read great reviews and happened to be in the neighborhood and got the opportunity to go. I am definitely coming back soon! The samosas are killer. They have a traditional and a butter chicken one. I personally preferred the butter chicken one as it complimented the sauces better. As a table we got the short ribs, chicken tikka poutine, and ghost pepper vindaloo. Also we got the rosemary naan. The food was incredible. The service was great. Parking was a little difficult but it wasn't too far or too expensive
