This is in my opinion the best restaurant in Santa Fe New Mexico! The Indian food here is outstanding 👌 the best so far that I have tried and I have the privilege of visiting Indian restaurants all over USA and overseas. The chicken Tikka Massala is my favorite thee sauce has no competition with others and I highly recommend it. The lamb dishes are good too. They cook the dishes with fine ingredients and you can request the level of spicy you want. The chicken Bryani is my other favorite 😍. Their manu offers a variety of dishes all good. Great and attentive customer service something not found overall restaurants in Santa Fe which also makes this my favorite place to eat. Thanks to the staff at India House your restaurants are a 5 Stars!
Very nice restaurant, great, attentive, fast customer service. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! We went to their buffet for lunch and they were extremely busy. The was no parking so we parked by the road. They are a little bit pricey. We paid over $80 for two adults and a child and two mango Lasses. Everything is expensive nowadays though. If you love Indian food and in Northern NM this is a great place to eat.
If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would! The service, food, and atmosphere were simply outstanding. We arrived in town late and decided to visit India House, unknowingly getting there just before closing. Despite the late hour, they graciously kept the restaurant open for us. The hospitality was exceptional—everyone checked in on us, making us feel truly special. The food was nothing short of extraordinary—authentic Punjabi North Indian cuisine bursting with rich flavors in every bite. It felt like a true taste of India. The menu had clearly marked vegan items, which was great to see!
We went there for their buffet lunch, delicious food!! Service is very good (drinks, buffet is self serve, of course). The buffet has meat, as well as vegetarian dishes, plus a salad and fruit section. And desserts. Located in busy Cerrillos Road, once you are inside you will enjoy your dining experience.
I was really impressed with the entire dining experience. I enjoyed the setup of the buffet as it was super fancy. The food was very good and there was a wide variety. I particularly enjoyed the fine table cloths, napkins, and glasses. You can tell the employees and owner take a lot of pride in their restaurant!
This was my first visit here and cannot say enough wonderful things about my visit. I have passed by many many times and was never really drawn to the location.....I guess due to signage outside. Trust me definitely stop and enjoy a meal here!!¡ The inside is fantastic with cloth table linens and the atmosphere and staff are all top.notch. The service was fantastic and the food was all very prompt, fresh, and delicious. The servers were very accommodating and glady answered all our questions regarding taste profiles and heat/spiciness. I have attached some photos of our meal and everything was great!!! The Naans were amazing.....the rice was incredible. I am a new fan and look forward to many more visits to explore this true gem. I am very happy and excited to have found this place.
Excellent meal. The cheese pakoras we're delicious and came with a trio of dipping sauces. I think the tamarind ended up being my favorite but all were delicious. I decided on the spinach with chickpeas and spinach bread since I had been eating some heavy meals lately and wanted a little more veg in my life. Both were fantastic. I would definitely visit again. I wish I would have stopped for their lunch buffet so I could try more of their dishes all at once. The only thing to note is that this is the only Indian restaurant that I've been to anywhere, including many overseas that doesn't serve at least some sort of white rice with their dishes. Usually basmati. Since I was trying to eat a bit lighter. I skipped the rice since I had ordered a bunch of food but just be aware that it's around $4 for white rice on up. They have many different rice options. Also. I'd like to come back to try the lamb or seafood. I'm sure it's great! The dining room had decent ambience considering the area it's in is more of a corporate strip mall type of road away from the city center
