Wow. I don’t normally rate restaurants but this food had me at aw on how good it was. I’m not the most frequent Indian food eater but I have had my fair share and the food here one of the best I have tasted. If I ever do want to go out to eat or if my friends are in town, I will definitely take them here. Is the atmosphere amazing? No it’s a small hole in the wall. The service is decent and the workers are friendly. Check out this place if you want some great food.

I love Indian food. Out of all the ones out here in the region, Taste of Indian is by far the best. The food is delicious and the host or owner is always very friendly. I’ve tried Indian restaurants outside of the desert and they don't compare to Taste of India. Third time here and leave feeling satisfied and happy to have an authentic experience.

I work close by and eat here regularly. Everyone at the office is always excited when we get takeout from this place. It's the best Indian food I've ever had, and always makes me feel better after eating it. Don't miss this gem of a restaurant! I would personally suggest the korma, it's rich and creamy and so satisfying. The folks that run this place are always really nice and friendly to me, and I try to tell everyone who comes to visit how much I like it.

We enjoy eating here! It's a casual spot—not fancy—but the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent. My personal favorite is the chicken korma. The food is prepared with just the right amount of spice based on your preference, which we appreciate. We highly recommend this place for a tasty and satisfying meal!

We visited Joshua Tree in Feb and was craving Indian food after our long days of hike. We found this place on Google maps as we stayed in dessert spring and the 1st night we visited, they couldn't accommodate us since they were that busy with online orders and dine in reservations. So we waited to go for lunch 2 days later before leaving for home. The food was totally worth the anticipation. It was just full of distinctive flavors and aromas. The owner was extremely nice too. Even though we had a 9 hr drive home, we still ordered 2 days worth of food to go after dining full stomach. 😂. I wish they would open one in the Bay Area but will definitely return if we do visit Palm Springs again.

Pricey yet very flavorful. We usually order the Lamb Biryani with mild spice & the vegetarian Navratan Korma with medium spice. The Aloo Saag and Paneer Tikka Masala are very tasty too. The last times we went, the prices they were charging in the restaurant wasn’t reflective of the prices they have on their website. The staff can be a little rude sometimes too, try not to take it personally. They usually don’t give utensils for takeout, so ask for them if you need them. Lastly, for a place that has such flavorful entrees & savory items it surprises me that their desserts taste kind of bland. I was expecting more spices in their desserts, not really worth the $6. The rice pudding was small & both the desserts were just one-dimensionally sweet. That Navratan Korma is amazing though! So addicting!
