It was almost perfect! My first time enjoying Indian food. I wish I had a Ginger Ale to make it complete, but otherwise it was amazing!!
One of my favorite places to go eat in Memphis! Love the quiet, cozy atmosphere and the great service. Chicken coconut korma is the best. A perfect evening would be going here then heading across the street to catch a movie at Studio.
Love this place We came for our Xmas dinner last year was amazing Couldnβt resist to come back and order takeout Canβt wait to get home and eat some delicious authentic Indian cuisine Highly recommended
Amazing authentic Indian food. We tried the vegetable samosas, paneer pakora, butter chicken and tandoori shrimp masala. All the food was perfect. Ordered the butter chicken medium, and it was medium. I recommend you give this place a try especially if you like Indian food and if you don't, still give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
This is by far the best Indian food in Memphis. I've made it a point to try other places to compare them to this place. Other places are good, but Golden India is the best. I enjoy their Thursday and Friday buffets. Each day they server a regular menu on the buffet, so you always know what you're getting depending on the day you visit the buffet. I've discovered that Indian food is kind of like chicken and dumplings. It might all be the same stuff, but each granny has her own recipe, so no two are identical. The same is with Indian food. I think Golden India has the best recipes.
Tandoori chicken: Chicken marinated in yogurt and spices, cooked over red hot charcoal in the tandoor grill. Mushroom Bahjee: Curried mushroom with sautΓ©ed onion and peas. Chicken curry and Garlic Naan bread. The best. π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯ Tandoori chicken, chicken and mushroom curry, garlic Naan, tandoori shrimp masala. I love this place. π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯
Great food, very nice host and waitress, dessert was great but I love the garlic naan so much. Must try if youβre in the area
