Lunch buffet. Cozy restaurant, seems like other reviewers complain about the decor, stating it is aged, distressed etc., but I see this differently…it’s cute, cozy in and old-school way. I felt at home. The service was excellent, they brought me naan, took my plates when they were empty, refilled my water etc. The staff was friendly, polite and welcoming. The food was great. I’ve had the privilege of working in India for nearly 2 months, and I think this restaurant well represents the style. The variety of dishes is very wide, and I thought they were all very good. I loved the fish curry, creamy cheese spinach (palaak paneer), tandoori chicken. Their salads were very nice and well presented. Overall this is a great restaurant with tasty Indian food and a friendly staff, no complaints, highly recommended, and look forward to going back again. This restaurant is a gem, and I feel lucky to have it near my work! Mujhe yei pasanda hei, tamhara kana swadish hei! 😁👍
Awesome buffet, good pricing, and friendly staff. When I’m feeling hungry and just want a good bit of food and nothing in particular, I come here and enjoy a variety of different dishes for a great cost. Love the naan, and the chow mein. Highly recommended.
Great food! Lots of flavor! Great service too. Friendly staff Love their dessert. Definitely going back here next time. Would recommend to others
Came here for the lunch buffet. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. There is naan on the buffet line that looks more a dessert version. They did bring fresh, hot naan to the table several times. The interior is dated and has a worn feel.
My fiancée and I ate the buffet lunch here on Saturday for the first time. We both love Indian food! Well, I have to say that this restaurant is the real deal. The food was AMAZING! I felt an explosion of flavors in every bite. A bit pricy at $20 (with tax) per person, but if you want to eat as much as you want, and have a huge variety of dishes to choose from, this is the place to go. It's very clean, both in the dining area and the restrooms. The service was exceptional. We will definitely be back!
We've been twice and had both the buffet and dinner. We went late for the buffet but they were still refreshing the dishes, everything looked good and I'm glad we were able to try a variety off food. I found out I liked korma, fried spinach, and tandoori chicken. The rice pudding was served cold and was very lightly sweet and had just the right amount of ginger. The quality of everything really stood out. The service was outstanding. The food was excellent but the service would be the reason I'd drive 45 minutes to eat here. It's right next to NASA, they work with delivery apps, great place to try this type of food if your not familiar. For dinner we had the Himalayan meat platter. Enough food for three hungry people or four with decent portions. It came with grilled chicken, lamb, shrimp, and a few different dishes. We had a couple of cocktails and tried to eat it all.
Wanted an authentic Indian thali and based on the reviews, decided to try this place out. The interior was a little dirty and lacked the refined ambience that the most popular local Indian restaurant has, but the service was very friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the chicken chili and veggie samosas for appetizers and agreed both dishes were excellent. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the layers of flavor were complex. The samosas had a crisp exterior with perfectly seasoned and soft filling. The mint chutney was probably among the best I’ve ever had and I have had a lot. The pakora presented as the thali appetizer was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The lentil soup was a little richer and darker than I’m used to but was also one of the best versions I’ve ever had. The chunks of lamb tikka and the chicken tikka masala were all juicy and flavorful. The naan was even notably good! All in all, this seems to be the best Indian restaurant in the area on the first try. I’m gonna go back soon and see if it is as good as the first. Outstanding.
