The honey 65 nuggets and sando was great, not too spicy and had good seasoning. We also got the duck fat fries, they were good but didn’t taste much different than normal fries but still very tasty. Good portions but most importantly the owner was super friendly and even gave us free sauce and dessert! Would definitely recommend! We also sat at the tweedys bar behind the truck which was better than the outside chairs.

Guppys has some of the most delicious chicken and fries in Austin! Their truck is in an atmospheric location near a bar and some outdoor seating, and they serve very generous portions. I love the Country (previously Regular) chicken nuggets and garlic duck fat fries, and my partner recommends the Honey 65 and South Gangster flavors. A mango lassi and their chili garlic ranch complete the meal. We’ve been eating here for a few months and receive impeccable service and food every time. We highly recommend!

Visited the food truck tucked away by a bar around the UT area, don't miss this food truck. Amazing burgers, nuggets and service. I did a take out order and called ahead, the sandwich was prepared hot and fresh on a cold evening and it turned out to be perfect. I tried the "bhenchoo" sandwich (not for the faint of the heart) but I got a sweat workout. The chicken was fresh, moist and juicy and the duck fat definitely does the trick. For a very bit sandwich, it was very flavorful and had a great kick. Also got the schezwan nuggets and it was delicious. Maybe I would get a different choice of sauce the next time to go along with it but the nuggets itself were crispy and very flavorful. I liked the fact that the sandwich bun was separated out as well as the pickles so that the sandwich does not become soggy in a take out box. Raj was great to talk to and I hope more patrons will visit Guppys and give it a try for its awesome sandwich, nuggets and fries. I need to be back for the other variants.

It was so good. The chicken was some of the freshest and tender that I’ve had (I have a lot of chicken). I got the nuggets honey 65 and periperi-honey was better-and two sandwiches (one honey and spizy szechuan). Both were SO delicious. Must I reiterate myself again? The chicken was so juicy. My only complaint is that they ran out of food because I would have definitely ordered more. i really want to try the samosas and tikka chili fries. Mango Lasi would be nice as well. The Ambiance was great as well. If I closed my eyes, I could imagine myself eating this scrumptious chicken in cancun.

I could not have been more pleased with my experience at Guppy’s ATX! My friend and I got the garlic duck fat fries, a 10pc honey 65 chicken nuggets, 1 honey 65 sandwich and a southern gangster sandwich. We also got two mango lassis. The honey 65 perfectly encapsulated its namesake(chennai chicken 65), It tasted authentic and the honey fusion melded with the 65 flavor perfectly. Props to the chef for that flavor combo. The southern gangster was their second spiciest flavor and it DELIVERED. Plenty of flavor and a great amount of spice. Portions for all the food were great, especially the fries. The fries had the perfect crisp texture that you’d want from a crinkle cut, and the duck fat flavor was unbeatable. Mango lassis was phenomenal as well, tasted authentic and more like a yogurt than milk(which it should be). If I were to nitpick, I’d say the creamy tikka sauce was a little watery and I’d personally prefer a a little bit of a creamier texture. That being said, the mint chutney that came with the nuggets was bomb, and their ranch was pretty standard. The chill nighttime atmosphere with all the lights at Tweedy’s only added to the experience. The food was super high quality, but my experience with the owner, Raj, was what really made it. He seemed very down to earth, extremely personable and passionate. He even refused our tip and said we could tip after we ate and only if we enjoyed the food, that’s how you know he’s in this for the right reasons. Could not rave more about this place, just wish they opened up sooner! Will be coming back and telling everyone about this place!!!

This food is outstanding. I ate my fries first as they were piping hot and crispy. Chef Raj was experimenting with a seasoning for the fries and asked if I wanted some. No way I was going to say no. The sauce was tangy and spicy the green onions gave a crunch. Also got the nuggs in south gangster sauce. Hot hot hot but soo freaking good. The chicken was crunchy on the whole exterior and tender inside. The chilli spice was coated well. Can't wait to go back to try the sando.

Raj intentionally sources his products locally or from his farm in South India (many of the spices and rubs he uses are from India), he is constantly finding ways to improve his recipes and uses only Halal chicken. You have the option to have duck fat coated on the chicken. I love the heat, crunch and juiciness of the chicken. Fairly priced and love that he uses NON-GMO. Get the Honey 65 and south gangster! Second time here and it’s as amazing as the first time
