Nirmal’s is AMAZING!! They accommodated my 14-person wedding party (we made a reservation far in advance) and all of our allergies / dietary restrictions so well! (We had vegans, vegetarians, people with very restrictive allergies, and people on a doctor-ordered elimination-diet, so we were a challenge for sure.) We spoke with the head chef beforehand to get special meals for those with many dietary restrictions and he was so happy to help. The staff, the owner, and the head chef all spoke to us and checked on us so attentively and genuinely wanted us to have a good time and enjoy everything. They succeeded!! Oh, ya, and the food was DELICIOUS! So were the cocktails. Wow!
Been there for the first time and truly loved the place. I went there after having a reservation. They have an amazing menu which keeps changing every 2 months. I ordered Paneer Tikka and Fish in the appetizers which was delicious. Order Chicken Patiala and Chicken Dum Biryani inMain Course which was good too. The food had an authentic aroma. Love the flavor. The staff is very nice, they take feedback from you which is a great gesture. The ambience is good. I also loved the drinks as we ordered couple of them like coctails and Fresh Lime. This place is much recommended. Will definitely go back to try different dishes of different cuisines.
I stopped in on a whim this evening and was delighted by the warm atmosphere, the kind servers, the butter naan and the delicious paneer. The music playing was perfect for a rainy evening. Even the mango lassi was dressed up with a touch of mango syrup!
It was our first visit to this restaurant me & my friends searching for a good Indian food. Luckily enough, it was the right choice. We tried their special dish ( lamb shank rogan josh) which wasn't on the menu. Also we tried kebab, chicken curry, different types of nans ( bread) & a special dish ( grilled fish wrapped in banana leaves. Each dish was soo good. I could tell this restaurant is using a quality ingredients. Of course, we also tried lamb dum biryani.. One of the best I've ever tasted.
My friends and I decided to visit this restaurant after reading many positive reviews on Google, and we’re so glad we did during our trip. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and the servers and owners were incredibly friendly. We were seated promptly and had a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We ordered lamb biryani, pav bhaji, and tandoori chicken, and we loved everything we tried. The spice levels were just right, reminiscent of authentic Indian flavors. The quality and quantity of the food were excellent. Even though I’m not usually a fan of lamb biryani, I could easily enjoy it here anytime. Overall, this restaurant was a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend it to any food lover.
We loved everything we tried here. The flavors were complex and satisfying. The meat was high quality and the perfect combination of slightly crispy on the edges but soft in the middle. The owner stopped by and told us that the recipes that were used in the restaurant were mostly his mothers. Apparently he had two older sisters and his mother said that his sisters should get an education and he should learn how to cook! Another fun fact about the owner that we learned was the fact that he was integral in getting graduate students medical insurance back in the 90s. The service was excellent. This was an elevated food experience. Well worth the cost. I didn’t take many pictures because we were too busy enjoying our food. The space is an old train station and has really cool high ceilings and brick walls.
Nirmal's is an authentic Indian culinary innovation and stands out as a masterclass in original Indian cuisine. My husband and I, both food enthusiasts with a deep love for traditional Indian flavors, stumbled upon this gem and were blown away. We are both home cooks who love to cook Indian food from scratch. We know our food and work towards cooking up a storm in our kitchen so believe me when I say we loved Oliver's vision of unapologetic Indian cuisine– no fusion gimmicks, just pure, unadulterated flavor. *Standouts:* - Chicken patiala, sweet and salty just like it should be! - Mango nojitos, the most delicious non-alcoholic drinks ever! - In-House made chicken tikka and mutton-pav, generous on the house tastings from Oliver. Loved the hospitality and felt so special! Beautiful flavors! Chef's kiss! *What sets Nirmal's apart:* - Authenticity that resonates deeply- In-house ground spices, nothing straight out of the freezer - Passionate owners who genuinely care about their food and what they serve - Fresh, house-made ingredients, spices and chutneys - A chef who understands the nuances of Indian cuisine Seattle, take note: Follow them, visit them and promote them. Their flavors are Chef's kiss! Dining here is an experience. Love your food and show some love to people who serve you DELICIOUS food! Don't miss their tandoori chicken; it's sublime. Thank you, Oliver and Chef, for sharing your love and craft with us! It was a privilege to dine here tonight. Will take the masterclass (and lots of leftovers) home with us!
