first let me start off by saying this is the best thing i ever had. this is my first time having indian food too and everything was just so fresh and seasoned so good. 10/10 AMAZING
Absolutely delicious! We ordered cheese naan, lamb korma and lamb vindaloo and everything was distinctly different and wonderfully flavorful. This particular Sunday we enjoyed a 15% discount for dine in service. The server was also very kind and attentive. Looking forward to going back again soon!
I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants in my time here on Earth and I've got to say this place is sure on par with some of the best Indian joints I've eaten at. 10/10 would eat again! The flavors were so vibrant and there was excellent hospitality.
I have been going to this place for 2 years now. I am now speaking from a the couch in my apartment and the culinary excellence that I just consumed made me feel compelled to sit down and write this review. First, the staff was extremely courteous. Secondly, the food was ready in less than half an hour. Lastly, the naan, paratha, lassis, chicken tikka masala, and vegi samosas were killer. I am in a state of food euphoria that I have not experienced in a while. While this was always my favorite Indian Take Out (I have also had a good experience eating in) in Brooklyn, this most recent experience really cemented Sapphire in my mind as a real diamond in the rough. If you want courteous customer service and dang good Indian food, treat yourself (preferably after a day of hard work) to a well deserved and affordable treat.
If you like Indian food this place will make you want to come back again. Good size portions, amazing flavors, friendly and polite waiter(s). Sometimes you can get 15% off for dining in or even 40% off during the lunch time (from 12 till 3).
Awsome atmosphere with awsome food. One of the best indian food I have tried. Appetizer gobi manchurian and samusa is my favorite. Main dish butter chicken with garlic naan is so good. And the mango lassi is the top on my list, perfect combination of yogurt, mango pureé and sugar. Service and staffs were amazing.
There food is consistently great every time, and I order from here a lot. It is very well spiced and much better than other Indian in the neighborhood imo. The kachori and the lentil soup stand out as appetizers. The briani and the saag stand out as entrees. The guys who work here are so nice and work very hard. :)
