San Idli Vegetarian Restaurant & Indian Food in San Diego

We came across this place while looking for Dosas and had fantastic experience. We ordered Mysore Masala Dosa, Cheese Masala and Rava Masala Dosa. All 3 were really good. Gulab Jamoon was excellent. The Manager there was awesome, friendly and got us Rava Kesari on the house and it was absolutely awesome. Overall loved the food and service.

Great Vegeterian South Indian Food. Should be the Go-To spot for south Indian food in San Diego. Highly Recommend the Ilai Parota available on the Weekends. Very Friendly staff and great service as well!

We visited San Idly in San Diego all the way from New York after seeing the fantastic reviews on Google, and we were not disappointed! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the hospitality was just as wonderful. The idlies were soft, fresh, and just melted in the mouth—easily some of the best we've had! The fried rice was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, while the uttapam was rich in taste and cooked to perfection. The rava dosa was crispy, light, and absolutely delightful! Beyond the amazing food, the staff was super friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home. They genuinely care about their customers and ensure you have a great dining experience. If you're in San Diego and craving authentic South Indian food, San Idly is a must-visit! Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back!
