If you are visiting the spy museum at Washington DC, and craving for an Indian food, look no further. It’s a hidden gem near to the metro station next to the spy museum. They’re new, but they are affordable, give huge portions of food and above all, they are really tasty.
I am a student tour director so I am in L'Enfant multiple times a week. This is such a hugely appreciated addition. It was amazing! I ate too much! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!
I have been here several times and it seems like their food is never really temperature hot. The bread is always made to order but the food could use a bit more fire to it.
I was going to pay some parking ticket and was hungry for lunch. I'm gluten free and I don't eat a lot of rice. I stumbled across this quiet corner lunch kiosk. And I couldn't have been more shocked. It's honestly the best food I've had in DC since before covid. I rarely review a restaurant after just having one meal but my rice was swapped out for a salad and it was honestly the best salad I've had and I can't even remember there were seasonings beans and the quality was very fresh of the vegetables. The lamb and veggies was amazing. It was the freshness and quality of the food that really surprised me. Everything was cooked to its proper softness and firmness respectively. And they were really sweet as well
Fast service fresh Indian curries and sides. The freshly made naan in front of house is a nice touch. Our party enjoyed the lamb, butter chichen and chicken tikka. Really convenient to metro and Spy museum. Definitely an elevated meal and great addition to the food court!
Visiting DC with family and they mostly prefer Indian food. Went out of our way, stumbled across this place and we’re so glad we did. Generous portions, best butter chicken (perfectly sized tandoori chicken pieces in creamy sauce) I’ve had in the USA, the cucumber and tomato topping adds the perfect crunch, freshly baked naan and overall, quite reasonably priced for the DC area. Everything tasted so fresh. I wish they got more business. Highly recommend to give them a try :)
Awesome place! Feels like home, has vegan and vegetarian options that ARE TASTY (not some old weird dish :) )
