We had a great visit to this restaurant today. Food was awesome and the owner was really humble. We liked each of the veg and non veg items we ordered. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was excellent. The attention to detail in both presentation and flavors made our dining experience truly enjoyable. We'll definitely be returning for more delicious meals in the future.
A friend from Bakersfield recently took over the restaurant as a co-owner and is changing the name to the Curry Lounge. I drove down from Bakersfield for my first visit along with wife and two young adult sons, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I may be no connoisseur of Indian food, but I can honestly say that it was the best Indian meal I have ever eaten, and I’ve eaten at several Indian restaurants over the years. Everything we had was addictingly tasty! We also celebrated my younger son’s 20th birthday with a cake that we bought at a nearby bakery. After singing happy birthday, some guys at another table joined in celebration by chanting “Drink a beer, drink a beer … one more year!”
I had an amazing experience at The Punjab Restaurant. The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. We received all of our appetizers and main courses very quickly, and the waiters and waitresses made sure to ask us consistently if we needed anything else and how our meal was going. I would recommend anyone to try out the restaurant.
Great dining experience!! Delicious food, reasonable price and good service. Food is prepared spicy. Let server know upfront if you want mild. Will dine here again.
We wanted to try a different restaurant in Little India than our regular goto place. Quiet place, food was good. Chole Bhature and Mango Lassi were the best that we have had in a while. Samosa and Papdi Chaat are good too. Price point was very reasonable. The owner/cashier is a gentleman. Hope you all will like it too.
The Punjab Restaurant has an amazing vibe, is ambient and has an awesome punjabi hip hop music playlist. The food is good and definitely feels home cooked. One way to tell that their food is pure is when you do not feel that undying thirst after some time. We ordered chana batura and poori chana. Both poori and batura were good , not heavy at all, the chana masala was amazing as well. We got pickled onions ( sirzke wala pyaaz ) and it just added to overall flavor. We also ordered cold coffee with milk and it just tasted like the ones we get in Punjab ( street food lovers would be able to relate ). The restaurant seemed family run and the staff was cordial. Food delivery could be faster but that is too early for me to comment on as I just been here once. Will edit my comment accordingly in future. If you are in Artesia, make a stop here
