Highly recommend! I ordered the chilli shrimp, and my husband ordered the chicken korma. Both were flavorful and delicious. Also had raita and garlic naan, along with wonderfully authentic spiced milk tea (chai). Super friendly owner and staff, cute decor. Will absolutely come back next time we visit the area.
Great food, warm ambiance, and excellent service! The flavors were authentic, and the dishes were perfectly spiced. Highly recommend the garlic naan and curry ..A must-visit for Indian food lovers!
Not going to lie, we were a bit nervous! I graduated from Manteo a long time ago. My friend and I went yesterday and stayed the night at the beach. Stopped here for lunch. They did NOT disappoint! The place was empty around 1:30 on a Friday, they brought out packaged tableware and paper plates. Then the food came! I'm hungry just thinking about how good it was! Yes, a bit expensive, but what isn't these days!? I totally am ready for a 2.5 hour drive for more! Thank you so much, it was delicious!
I never review food places as a rule, but this place rocks. Absolute best Indian food I’ve ever had, great and informative staff that make you feel welcome, and superb ingredients with generous servings. Labor of love food and an unpretentious atmosphere that is much appreciated in a tiktok/Instagram bs society.
Excellent!! The owner is so friendly and explained the dishes to us and introduced us to the chef. Flavors were amazing!! Authentic! We will definitely be back — and make this a regular in our rotation!
Wonderful (we ordered take out, so can't rate in house service, but they were super friendly). The pakoras and somosas were ON POINT. The shrimp curry, butter chicken, malai kofta, and chicken korma were all excellent at "medium". Only possible complaint is we had too much food! Highly recommend.
Stopped in for dinner. This is a fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter then they bring the food to you on a tray. My husband and I had chicken tikka masala (medium) and I had the butter chicken sauce w shrimp instead of chicken (hot). Flavors were delicious and worthy of sopping up w the garlic naan we also ordered. We had the vegetable samosa app, which was good. Total bill was $55, which was not bad, esp considering we had enough food for lunch the next day. We will be back!
