Spice Jar Kitchen delivers an authentic and satisfying Indian street food experience. The Bhuna Ghost Parota is packed with flavor, with tender, perfectly cooked meat. The real star is the Kadai Chicken Parota—bold, spicy, and absolutely delicious. The Chicken Shaami Omelette with Sheermal is decent, while the Dagi Poori is quite enjoyable. The Chicken Tikka Plate is average, but the fries were a huge hit with the kids—crispy, tasty, and surprisingly oil-free. The Strawberry Falooda is a refreshing way to end the meal. Beyond the food, the service is outstanding—friendly, quick, and attentive. The team makes you feel welcome and ensures a great dining experience. The ambiance is nice, though a bit of extra lighting would make it even better.
Spent an amazing evening at SpiceJar RoundRock today. Harika is a passionate owner chef and crafted all the dishes personally with so much love for food and attention to detail. We started with Mirapakaya bajji and it had the greatest stuffing I have ever seen in an MB. It was fryed to a crispy perfection and the taste was next level. The Kadai Paneer with Paratha was so fresh and you can feel the quality ingredients that were used with every bite of it. The best was the Strawberry Falooda made with all fresh ingredients and I believe there were no artificial essence used. The entire food truck space was so clean with colorful picnic tables, and they have the whole place to themselves with ample parking . She said they are planning on setting up a tent that would enhance the dinning experience for the guests. Highly recommend the place. Definitely try it out.
I had the pleasure of dining at Spice Jar twice, and both experiences were absolutely delightful! On my first visit, I started with their samosa chaat—crispy, tangy, and bursting with flavors—followed by the veg biryani, which was fragrant, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious. I ended my meal with falooda, a refreshing and indulgent treat. The experience was so good that I had to return! On my second visit, I tried the chicken shaami paratha roll and samosa burger—both were flavorful, satisfying, and well-prepared. But the real highlight was the bhuna gosht —rich, tender, and packed with aromatic spices. Every bite was a delight! The consistency in taste, quality, and service truly impressed me. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food and warm hospitality!
This place is fantastic!, Wanna try spicy Indian street food in round rock -we ordered pizza dosa, shammi kabab omlet parata taste was soo good,Must try Desi chicken wings, flavored rice, Bhuna gosht(boneless goat curry) food was next level taste, The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the owner even came by our table to check if everything was good and if we were enjoying the food.Such amazing people! Irani chai was super comforting. perfect vibe for hanging out with friends, super chill and fun. If you're looking for some bomb Indian street food, this place is a must-try!
Would give 10 stars for food and hospitality if I could! I came here on a Sunday morning to satisfy a craving for dahi puri, but they had to wait for an ingredient to be delivered from their kitchen. It was only about a 10-15 min wait which I didn’t mind at all, but they graciously offered me free chai with a delicious little shortbread cookie, a water bottle, and an order of samosas on the house!! Everything was absolutely delicious and tasted very homemade and I left stuffed! The best part was that I felt like I was at a friend’s house being fed by their mom. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends. BTW they are now located in the PostNet parking lot.
We had fusion appetizers and snacks as well! After a long time, we had great fusion food... If you ask me, I am writing down my recommendations below: 1. Chipotle style paneer burrito 2. Pizza Dosa 3. Pani Puri (especially their chutney) 4. Samosa Burger (If you wanna try something new) 5. Goli Soda (If you wanna try something new.. it’s a completely new concept ❤️) 6. Silver spoon chicken roll 7. Papdi Chaat ( I loved it, because it was filled with chaat and I am kinda obsessed with that!!!) 8. Strawberry Falooda Drink (Oh-my-God) I will give a huge shoutout to the owner...She is a mom of three kiddos and a full-time entrepreneur who manages everything by herself!! When I visited her food truck, I saw her jumping here and there - managing customers with a smile, taking online orders with a smile and helping her friend cum cook…! You should definitely give this place a try!
My first time visit and absolutely loved the taste. I ordered Paneer biryani and cut Mirchi. I will visit again to try some more items from their menu.
