We visiting the Austin area for work, have had Indian food from coast to coast. This is the best I have ever had! Better than LA or NYC! The staff was great as well. I started with a mango lassi and that should have been my first indication of the greatness that was to come, as it was the best lassi Ive ever tried as well! This place truly deserves a 5 star rating here on google! Thank you to the chef/owner for the wonderful dinning experience 🤩

Delicious North Indian food, and awesome owners. Greeted well at the entrance and checked in frequently while eating. Definitely recommend stopping by, and enjoy the delicious Indian food.

I read a review of this restaurant on Instagram by an Austin foodie who raved about the food here and she did not overstate how good it is! we ordered the butter chicken which melts in your mouth, an eggplant dish and the spinach/chickpea dish along with the plain naan. All were terrific! Note that the mild was a little spicy still but it was not overwhelming, just a little stronger than I expected. I highly recommend!

Soooo this place is amazing!! I went to an Indian place years ago and swore I just didn’t like Indian cuisine. My friend (whom is Indian) told me please let her redeem the cuisine. LET ME TELL YOU!! This food was so good!! We had lamb, butter chicken and chicken lollipops!! Everyone was friendly and the pace was quaint. I will be telling people about this place and will return next week!!

Authentic North Indian Flavors in Austin – A Must-Visit! I recently had the pleasure of dining at what I can confidently say is the best North Indian restaurant I’ve experienced in the Austin area. The flavors at Bayleaf are incredibly authentic, and the menu is filled with classic dishes that deliver on taste. We ordered the Chicken Kadai, Butter Naan, and Chole Bhature, and each dish surpassed our expectations. The Chicken Kadai was packed with the perfect blend of spices and cooked to perfection, while the naan was soft and buttery. The Chole Bhature was a standout – hot, flavorful, and just the right balance of spice and richness. The food was served hot, and the staff was warm, polite, and attentive, adding to the overall fantastic experience. It’s been a while since we’ve enjoyed North Indian food this good, and we’re excited to come back regularly. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine!

Literally the best chicken tikka masala and buttered garlic naan bread that I have ever had! Super authentic Indian restaurant and highly recommended! Their mango nectar juice was amazing too! Staff and service was really friendly. Definitely coming back to try some other dishes

You will love the food. The staff is friendly and will customize as per your needs. The chef, Harshdeep, personally came to our table to check on us. Tandoori Paneer sizzler is the best. Another version of Tandoori Paneer sizzler is Hariyali Panner. We love that too. Your food may take a few minutes longer to come but its because its is being prepared just for you. And the extra wait it completely worth it. Family owned and family friendly place.
