Absolutely fantastic food! We had the chicken curry, lamb curry with garlic naan bread and mojito drink. Food was delicious and the service great. I recommend you sit down and try something new. We did and will definitely come back again

I went to Austin India Bar and Restaurant recently and tried the Lamb Biryani. The food overall was okay and pretty good, but the Lamb Biryani was really, really, really good – full of flavor and cooked perfectly. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server, G, was one of the friendliest and most genuine people I’ve met at any Indian restaurant in Austin. He was super attentive, kind, and made us feel very welcome. Definitely one of the best servers out there. Thanks for the great experience!

A small but cozy place with a nice bar, good service, and excellent food. Everything we tried from appetizers, mains, to desserts were delicious

We went at a low point of the day so there was not many people. As soon as we walked in it smelled amazing, and and we were greeted very nicely. Our food came out quickly with great service and it was delicious! We recommend the samosas, tandoori chicken, mango lassi, and the tandoori bread stuffed with potatoes. Would definitely come back again.

We tried Stuffed Amritsari Chole kulche, gulab jamun, mango lassi and paneer platter sizzler, and all of them were delicious. They also serve liquor of course, but there’s also a liquor shop right next to this place. Decent punjabi taste, and very fast service. They could play more with the aesthetics but maybe they just want to keep it simple. There’s plenty of free parking right outside, but I could not find a ramp for the wheelchair. There were separate washrooms for men and women. Must try restaurant!

Good food and drink selection. Well lit, excellent food presentation. Great for small groups or dining alone. Can view menu, order as a group or for oneself via QR code located on tables. Staff was pleasant, polite and delivered food order on time to our table. Plenty of parking ( at least during our visit).

Their tandoori naan is fresh and perfectly complements the meal. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the amazing host.
