$10 for two curries, rice, and a naan is an incredible deal. They’ll also give you some sliced onions and spicy peppers on the side. I got the butter chicken and the eggplant & potato dish (I can’t remember the name). They even added extra curry on top of the rice! I think the food needs a bit more seasoning, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The people who work here are also so friendly and welcoming. The service is fast, so if you’re on a short schedule but want something that doesn’t feel fast casual - this is the place.
This place is amazing if you’re looking for great food and a fun time. Staff is great, customer service is amazing, and above all else the food is fantastic. Highly recommend, 10/10.
Walked in for lunch on Thursday was not too packed. We were able to eat in. The portions were large and the food was very tasty. The service was also great. They were very attentive and friendly. Definitely come here for their lunch special got the one vegetable and one chicken with naan-and rice for $10.
Friendly staff. Limited seating. Many options to choose from. Meals come with Rice and Naan. I love that I can have both my favorites Saaf Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala.
A New York gem for sure! Great indian food, lots of vegetarian options, and the price cannot be beaten in the area! $10 for a full plate with rice, 2 sides and a naan is such a good deal. Service is super quick, and one of the employees (not sure if he’s the owner) is the nicest man, always greeting people with a smile and genuinely asking about their day and making conversation! I come here on a weekly basis, it’s one of my favourite lunch spot in the area for sure. You can get it to go (and sit in the City Hall park nearby for example), or there’s a few seats inside the restaurant.
Quality and quantity is good for the price especially near the wall street. Definitely worth the try.
No frills food place that I came across whilst walking around downtown NYK. Simple hearty Indian food, mainly focusing on combo plates. However found they also did other good stuff that seems interesting.
