If you're coming for lunch it's your best chance to try a variety of one of the best Indian cuisine in Pennsylvania besides it really fills you up with a fresh fresh ingredient if you're coming after 4:00 p.m. which is dinner there meals big portions will leave you speechless after you try it. Price wise very reasonable if you want to compare it to other places. After all, you will give it five stars as it serves food flavor and price The only problem you might face is the parking with that everything is great.
Oh my gosh- this is the BEST Indian food I’ve had in YEARS! Just went here for dinner with my family- there were 6 of us and every one of us were thrilled with our meals! From the house naan, which was incredible, to the entrees and masala chai and desserts- (I had Galub Jamon with ice cream and it was ridiculously delicious). The service was fantastic and they were so accommodating. Our waitress was wonderful and the family running the restaurant were all so warm and inviting. What a terrific experience from start to finish. I can’t wait for my next visit to Pittsburgh to come back again!
The food here is so delicious. The naan is crispy but soft and the curries are so flavorful. Their chicken is tender and melts in your mouth. Staff are always so kind and helpful. This place feels as comforting and warm as the food.
First time dining at Masala House and we will definitely return. Vegetable Pakora, mixed vegetables Korma and lamb Seekh Kabob were all delicious. Medium/hot spice level was just right if you like it on the hot side. Kind and attentive service. Pricing is quite reasonable. So happy we tried it.
We LOVE Masala House! Charming decor, friendly, accommodating staff, absolutely delicious food! Perfectly and richly seasoned, hot and plentiful, wide variety of flavors and ingredients. We make the trip in from Greensburg and are never disappointed! Today we ordered the seated buffet lunch: 8-10 samples of daily offerings, all you can eat, served to you! Includes appetizer, dessert, papadum, and naan. They easily catered to my vegetarian and my partner's sugar free preferences, still allowing us to taste several delectable dishes. I had green beans with coconut, eggplant, yellow deal, vegetable korma, fried veg appetizer, rice noodle sweet dessert. My partner also had a tandoori chicken leg and fish curry. We both wish we could have eaten more!
Masala House was the best chicken tikka masala we have ever had, located in Pittsburgh. Owner was very friendly and gentleman working service counter/bar made our experience very special. Paneer dish was amazing !! 5 stars definitely coming back!!!
Delicious food in awarm and welcoming atmosphere. There are a few options that are less familiar to U.S. eaters. I recommend starting with the Chicken 65, and trying some chef's specials like Gongura goat curry and the Daal of the day.
