If you're in Pittsburgh and craving some amazing Indian food, you have to check out REVA Modern Indian Cuisine. The vibe is casual and relaxed, but the food is next-level. Every dish looks gorgeous and tastes even better, with flavors that are perfectly balanced and full of punch. Whether you’re a fan of Indian food or just trying it for the first time, there’s something on the menu that’ll wow you. What’s even better is that the prices are super reasonable for the quality you’re getting. You can enjoy a fantastic meal without breaking the bank. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Really exceptionally good food. Every dish we ordered was distinctly flavorful, with care put into the presentation. Appetizers were superb. Ordered paneer, chicken, and lamb dishes. The naan offerings were very unique and delicious (we tried three different ones). Decent sized menu, and we will be back. Enjoyed the seating setup - large tables, good for dates or family style. Decor and ambiance was nice. Went for an early date night on a Saturday.
We visited Reva for the first time today and were very impressed with the menu. We ordered the assorted samosa and palak chaat for apps. The palak chaat was light and tasty. It reminded me a lot of the infamous chaat at Rasika in DC. We ordered the paneer lababdar for the entree and it was lovely as well. We even were surprised with a cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary, which was a really nice touch and we really appreciated the staff going out of the way to make our night enjoyable. I’d recommend Reva for great food and service.
Best Indian Food In Pittsburgh! A modern twist on authentic classics. Tastes like home and has exciting dishes. Their goat cheese naan changed my life.
March 2025-The food is tasty and perfectly cooked the way it is supposed to be out of the tandoor/oven. The kathi roll was good. I liked what I ordered for home delivery. I had previously ordered Pahadi Paneer tikka and didn't find it good because the paneer was hard. Paneer/Indian cheese should be extremely soft like the Vadilal malai soft paneer you can find in frozen section of an Indian grocery store. Old review-Loved what I ordered. It's hard to find a restaurant that knows how to cook Indian appetizers perfectly and this place does it perfectly. The chicken malai boti was tender and perfectly cooked. And I liked the salmon tikka and Nanni chicken curry as well. I believe the prices here are a little higher than what one would expect but they're worth the taste, quality and the final outcome! Need to try more of their dishes and will update here!
I love the modern chic but casual ambiance!!! Definitely not your typical Indian restaurant! The menu offers items that are not common at other restaurants! So explore the menu! Seating is at long wood tables (cool design!) with wood stationary benches. Food presentation is curated with care and a step above others! Staff is super nice and attentive. We will visit this place again! Great addition to East Liberty/East End of Pittsburgh! There is street parking and a public parking lot behind the restaurant so super easy to access! Go and enjoy!
Everything was excellent. From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Definitely, a perfect modern touch to Indian flavors.
